Job Description: Solutions Engineer – Sales. We are looking for a skilled Solutions Engineer to join our team and help clients maximize the power of Microsoft cloud services. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design tailored solutions, and support projects across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement & Needs Assessment:
  Collaborate with clients to identify how their business can maximize the effectiveness of Microsoft cloud services, specifically on-premises, hybrid, and cloud solutions.
• Technical Analysis & Optimization:
  Conduct detailed analysis of existing IT environments and provide recommendations to optimize them in alignment with best practices and emerging technologies.
• Project Management & Support:
  Lead and provide technical support for customer projects from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business goals.
• Innovation & Technology Adaptation:
  Stay informed on emerging technologies and adapt innovative ideas into existing solutions to maintain competitiveness and efficiency.
• Sales & Account Support:
  Work closely with the sales team and account managers to identify professional services opportunities early in the sales cycle and within existing accounts, qualifying client requirements.
• Customer Consultation & Proposal Development:
  Translate business challenges into technical requirements, advising customers on technology choices. Develop customer proposals, statements of work, cost models, and proofs of concept.
• Bid Support:
  Assist the bid team with responses, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Pre-qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
• Solution Architecture & Problem-Solving:
  Use creative problem-solving to design, architect, and deliver technology solutions on Microsoft Azure, addressing complex client challenges.
• Automation & Deployment:
  Develop and deploy automation tools and scripts for a comprehensive cloud stack in Azure that aligns with client needs, performing testing and migration.
• Systems Integration:
  Architect and integrate on-premises applications, cloud providers, and platforms with Azure services.
• Proof of Concept (PoC) Development:
  Build PoCs and demos in collaboration with account managers to showcase solutions.
• Security Awareness & Application:
  Understand and apply security protocols, network security, and cryptography to ensure robust, secure solutions.

Requirements: 

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Solutions Engineer or a similar role with a focus on Microsoft Azure solutions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, with experience in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS integrations.
  • Strong foundation in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, automation tools, and scripting for Azure environments.
  • Understanding of computer security, including network and application security.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to design architectures that meet technical, security, and business needs.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address complex client issues.
• Client Management & Communication:
  • Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
